About

Our Story

Chapel of the Resurrection is a church under the Anglican Diocese of Singapore. Started in 1979 with just 80 members, COR was founded to provide pastoral care to the students and staff members of St Andrew’s Junior College at Malan Road.

Since then, the love for God has fuelled our growth, allowing COR to plant five churches and two extension centres. In 2005, together with the college, COR relocated to St Andrew’s Village in Potong Pasir.

Today, we are a community of people hailing from different walks of life, united by a common goal to proclaim and demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to schools, communities and the nations around us. We believe that no one is here by chance and we welcome you to journey with us in our common quest to discover God’s love and His plans for your life!

The 3 ‘C’s of Communion, Common Life and Commission form the framework for our community.

  • Communion with God: We Are God’s Beloved Children

  • Common Life Together: We Are Spiritual Friends

  • Commission to the World: We Are Good Neighbours

These 3 key relationships remind us that being a church extends beyond a sole focus on the Great Commission and help guide the planning and implementation of our parish initiatives and events.
